New Research: Irregular Heartbeat Affects Memory

An interesting new study from McMaster University where researchers have found what they believe is a strong link between an irregular heartbeat and an increased risk of cognitive decline.


"While it’s already known that an irregular heartbeat raises the risk of dementia among stroke survivors, this new study makes the connection with individuals who haven’t suffered a stroke and have an irregular heartbeat."
